Hollow Howl
My other love is music. I play guitar in a dark rock n’ roll band called Hollow Howl. You’ll find a deep archaeology of influences in my playing style — fingerstyle blues, flamenco, Eastern European folk music, metallic crust. Hollow Howl play dark rock n’ roll that is artful and danceable, suffused with reverb and rhythm. Memorable and eclectic, our songs transport the listener across chiaroscuro landscapes and the organic detritus of lived experience.
We live rurally on either side of the Delaware River in between New York City and Philadelphia and have been playing together since 2022. Each of us has deep roots in earth repair and farming, which inform the lyrical imagery of our songs as well as the organic complexity of our music.
